To all visitors,

My name is Wally Danczak, I live with my wife Courtney just outside of Chicago, Illinois.  My passion for photography goes all the way back to my childhood.  At the age of ten I made my first print in the Zerox paper storage room at Lane School and have been hooked ever since.  I have taken some black and white classes at the local junior college, and try to attend at least one workshop a year to enhance my skills as a photographer. I have worked with 35mm and medium format film, but my camera of choice these days is my Nikon D600. Like it or not, you cannot beat the instant gratification that comes with digital imaging.

When I look through a camera I see the true beauty of things.  Whether photographing my family and friends or a majestic mountain scape I always try to find the real beauty that lies within my subject.  My career has allowed me to travel around the globe and witness many of the marvels that cover this big rock.  Traveling has also allowed me to meet so many great people and make some really good friends. I never leave home without my camera even when traveling locally, and I always try to keep my mind and my eyes open to take in what’s around me.Some of my best shots have come at times when I thought that the day was a bust.

My gallery includes a large range of landscapes, nature as well as architecture. I thank you for taking time out of whatever you are wrapped up in, to browse my site.It is truly a work in progress and I have so much more that I want to share, so please come back again. Feel free to leave messages for me. I am always interested in how others interpret my work.  My passion currently is the digital technique of HDR, high dynamic resolution. This process involves combining multiple exposures of the same image to give the viewer an image that is perfectly balanced as far as highlights and shadows, and an image that can almost overwhelm your mind with detail.

Thanks again for stopping and remember ……”Everything has beauty….not everyone sees it"
